The Key to Non-violence in a Battle-prone World
We live in a world with many troubles arising. Land disputes, economic turmoil, religious conflicts, demands for freedom and respect, struggles for safety from hostile outsiders. We wonder how to have peace, how to end wars, how to stop others from hating us or our country, and some feel a duty to go to war. We are tired – but not tired enough – of the battlefield. We live in a culture of finger pointing, denial and projection. We don’t know who we are and we don’t now who our brothers and sisters are. We are ignorant. Why all this strife? To Live or Die for Attention? (Hint: One Sounds Better)
I recently came to the realization of what I have long heard and understood: that all negative energy, including emotion and physical illness, is an attempt to get the attention – essentially love – of others, and to get them to do what you want them to do but think you can’t or shouldn’t or aren’t allowed to do yourself.
